Evidence-Based Health Care For Optimal Health & Functioning

What can I treat as a chiropractor?

Last week I gave you a taste as to what I do to determine your cause of pain and dysfunction. Today’s blog is about what I treat with the same modalities I described in “Can you help my Pain / Sports injury?”. Here is a list of treatments off the top of my head that I see and successfully treat on a daily basis. Remember that not all Chiropractor’s or any other doctors/therapists are 100% alike. We all have our own way of providing relief and if you aren’t seeing positive reults, you are encouraged to get a second opinion/consult. It’s your time and money, but most importantly it’s YOUR HEALTH!

  • Headaches/migraines
  • Neck pain / whiplash disorder
  • Jaw pain / TMD (temporomandibular disorder)
  • Back pain (upper, middle and lower)
  • Disc related pain / numbness/tingling
  • Shoulder pain (joint, muscles, shoulder blades etc)
  • Elbow pain / golfer or tennis elbow
  • Wrist pain / carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Hip pain
  • Knee pain
  • Ankle pain
  • Foot pain / plantar fasciitis
  • Sprains / strains
  • Work injuries
  • Slip and falls
  • Auto accident injuries
  • Sport’s injuries
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Pinched/entrapped nerves
  • Sciatica
  • General wellness
  • Muscle strength, flexibility and balance/co-ordination

If you have something going on that isn’t on this list, click here to contact me if we can help you out! IF I CAN’T HELP YOU, I WILL DIRECT YOU TO SOMEONE WHO CAN. Remember in most cases it is better to start with conservative care such as chiropractic and neuro-functional acupuncture than to jump right into medications and/or surgery. A thorough assessment will determine the best course of action as all cases are individually based.

In health,

Dr. Rashaad
